HELPING COMMUNITIES FEED KIDS
Every kid needs three meals a day to grow up healthy, happy and strong.

But today in America, too many children are missing those meals. The good news? This is a problem we know how to solve.

Here’s how No Kid Hungry is helping communities feed children.

SCHOOL MEALS

Schools are at the center of our work - community centers trusted by parents and staffed by people who know the children by name and care about them. At school, kids can get the healthy food they need - for every meal of the day.

GRANTS

We distribute grants to schools, food banks and community groups across the nation to help them get what they need to feed kids, from meal carts to refrigerators to delivery trucks.

ADVOCACY

We work with national, state and local elected leaders on both sides of the aisle, fighting for policies that help families make ends meet - from expanding food assistance programs to cutting through red tape to help feed children during the pandemic.

AWARENESS

We work with celebrities, chefs, news media and major companies to make sure everyone sees the crisis of childhood hunger in the United States - and knows what they can do to help end it.

RESEARCH + POLICY

Knowing what has worked in one community can be helpful elsewhere. No Kid Hungry provides experts, research, tools and training to help people across the country feed children.

EARLY CHILDHOOD

Babies and little kids need healthy food for a strong start to their lives. We help parents and caregivers with young children, especially families that may be struggling to make ends meet.
